Search For America's Ugly Bathroom Light: The Results!

In the meantime, congratulations to Ugliest Bathroom Lighting winner Dea! Below is the account of her experience with Maxim Lighting and Lighting New York along with before and after photos. The new lighting looks fantastic, Dea!

Here are photos ~ we discovered how easy the Maxim fixtures are to install and how great they look! The ceiling mounts completely covered the old peeling paint that was so ugly and depressing. The bathroom lights went up just as easily, even in this old house, with ancient preexisting wiring and boxes. Thanks for helping us feel handy, and for beautifying our environment AND for making it safer - one of the kitchen ceiling lights had wiring that was 1/2 way disconnected, no ground wire, and blew the whole circuit every time we flipped the switch (so we had the switch taped down with duct tape! yuck! ; )
